During the year 2013-2014, HPSEDC have achieved the turn over to the tune of Rs.61.30 crores against the turn over of Rs. 50.16 crores of the last financial year 2012-2013. Thus there is an increased in the turnover to the tune of Rs. 11.14 Crores i.e. 22.21%.
The operating results show a net profit of Rs. 91.07 lacs for the year 2013-14 against last year net profit of Rs. 52.25 lacs. There is also increased in the profit during the year i.e. 74.30% against the figure of last year’s profit.
This profit was achieved after meeting out additional expenditure of statutory liabilities and others of more then Rs. 1.35 crores like leave encashment/gratuity premium /ADA/ACP arrear etc.
This corporation now has accumulated profit of Rs. 211.20 lacs after wiping out all accumulated losses in the earlier years.
HPSEDC has been continuously in profit for the last 09 years. Beside above HPSEDC has also paid service tax as well as VAT to the tune of Rs.220.75 lacs during the financial year 2013-2014.
- HPSEDC have successfully handled the recruitment assignments of 300 Posts of Police Constables and data processing as well as scanning recruitment process of HP State Subordinate Services Selection Board, Hamirpur for various posts, Excise and Taxation, Tourism Development Corporation etc. Earlier this corporation had successfully handled the recruitment assignment of constables (2007-2008 4th, 2008-2009 5th, 2009-2010 6th both Male & Female candidates, 2011-2012 for Male & 2012-2013 Male & Female since last five-six years for Himachal Police Department. Besides, various recruitments computerization processing assignments have successfully been done for H.P. Subordinate Service Board, Hamirpur for the last 5-6 years. During the year 2014-15 the process for handling of other project i.e. Warders recruitment for Prision Department in the State of HP is also going on and likely to be completed before the closing of the financial year ending 31st March 2015.
- HPSEDC, apart from procurement of computer hardware & allied items, have supplied medical equipments, office automation equipments like photo-copiers, fax machines, LCD Projectors, Digital Camera etc, and providing its after sales services to our valued customers promptly. Apart from above activities, HPSEDC have undertaken site-preparation work ( civil & Electrical ) for installation of computer hardware and other electronic equipments of various government offices.
- HPSEDC have successfully Developed & Implemented application software packages to various Government Departments, Boards, Corporations in the State as-well-as GOI, and few are : RGI Census (GOI), Agriculture & Horticulture Departments Census H.P., Economic Census, Electricity Billing, Payrolls, Procurement & Sales Analysis, PIMS, Budget Planning & prepa-ration, Statistical Analysis, EPF Accounting, Public Distribution System (PDS) for HP Civil supply Corpn. and many more. Deputy Commissioner Offices, Social Justice & Empowerment, HP Board of School Education, Technical Education, Polytechnic Colleges and ITI’s, HPSEB, HP Civil Supply Corpn, HP Power Corpn, HRTC, HP University and Govt. Colleges, all Boards and Corporations under the state government controls in HP, HP Coperative Bank, HP Co-op.Agri.& Rural Bank, Kangra Co-operative Bank, Jogindera Bank, Solan, and many more. Besides, HPSEDC, also selling computer systems and other related accessories to private customers, in competitive rates with one and three years warranty.
Thus in the last 15 years the position of this corporation has been converted in to accumulated profits from losses through the valuable assistance and guidance provided by the State Government and IT Department in particulars as well as sustained efforts of the Management and Staff of the corporation.
